U4GM How to Unlock Black Ops 7 Deadeye Drone Guide

Week 3 in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 has given players a fresh way to take control without relying on the usual big-kill streaks, and I've already seen matches swing because of it. The new Deadeye Drone Scorestreak is the kind of tool that rewards timing and patience, not just raw aim, and it's got people talking in every mode. If you're trying to speed up your progress or just keep the grind feeling less painful, pairing your sessions with something like a CoD BO7 Bot Lobby can make the weekly checklist feel far more manageable without forcing you into a playlist you don't like.

How You Actually Unlock It

The unlock path is simple on paper: finish six weekly challenges. The nice bit is you can mix objectives across Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone, so you're not trapped in one lane. Zombies players also get a little extra incentive this week, because knocking out the six challenges comes with three Elemental Exposure GobbleGums. Pop one and, for three minutes, your weapons reliably trigger elemental weaknesses. When rounds start getting messy and you're scraping for breathing room, that effect can feel like a lifeline rather than a luxury.

Why the Drone Feels Different

The Deadeye Drone sits in that sweet middle ground where it's not cheap, but it's not out of reach either. At 575 score, most decent matches will get you there if you're playing the objective and picking smart fights. Once it's up, you're in the driver's seat, literally. You pilot a mini chopper and use its sniper rifle to take shots yourself. And you can't get lazy with it, because the base setup gives you eight rounds. Eight. Miss a couple and you'll feel it straight away, especially if the enemy team starts looking up and spraying.

Leveling, Upgrades, and the Fun Stuff

This scorestreak isn't static, which is what keeps it interesting after the first few uses. Grind XP with it and you'll unlock upgrades that change how it plays. At Level 2, Extended Mag takes the edge off that tight ammo count, so you can stay in the air longer and actually build momentum. At Level 3, Grenadier flips the vibe completely by adding a grenade system, turning the drone into a tool for breaking setups. Campers behind headies, players stacked on a point, that annoying corner everyone avoids—you'll have a real answer for it.

Fastest Weekly Challenge Picks

If you want the drone quickly, don't hero the hardest tasks. Start with the easy wins: in Warzone, deploy three Armor, Munitions, or Utility Boxes and move on. In Zombies, buy 10 Doors and grab 50 kills while a Field Upgrade is active; those rack up faster than you'd think if you're playing normally. In Multiplayer, go for 10 Point Blank Kills with a shotgun, then pick up three streaks of 3 Kills without dying by playing your life and holding strong angles. Nail six of the cleanest options, get the streak unlocked, and once you've got access to BO7 Bot Lobbies you'll have even more room to practise the drone's timing and upgrades without burning a whole night on trial and error.
