Hi everyone,

I’m currently upgrading my digital storage system to make sure my personal records and family photos are safe. To test how my new recovery software handles damaged data, I want to run a quick DIY audit.

I was thinking of using a free online tool like Files Corrupter to generate a few broken files to see if my system flags them or attempts an automatic repair.

Has anyone here ever used this approach to test their security? I want to make sure my setup is completely secure.
